KABUL, Afghanistan – The Afghanistan Civil Aviation Authority announced Thursday the Kam Air Airline has complied with the required terms of General Civil Aviation Authority of the United Arab Emirates, allowing the privately owned airline to fly UAE after years of being frozen.

The airline can now fly to Dubai and other cities in UAE, the ACAA said in a statement, taking local and international passengers on board.

Welcoming decision of the UAE government, the ACAA look forward to further cooperation between the Emirates and Afghanistan airlines, including Ariana and Kam Air, with notion on companies to operate and compete accordingly while providing quality services to local and international passengers.

Meanwhile, the ACAA calls on Ariana and Kam Air Airlines to improve services by observing the safety and security measures, as well as the underlined principles.
