Kabul University’s complex attack ended after six hours, leaving 19 individuals dead and 22 other wounded.

According to MOI all of the three militants are killed during the combat and rescue operation.

Militants entered the campus around 11 am this morning, heading towards LAW Faculty which is reported to be the main target.

Tariq Arian, Spokesman to the ministry of interior said, that 19 people are killed in the attack and 22 others are wounded.

Media reports, hundreds of undergraduates and professors were inside the campus when the incident occurred.

After the blast, many students fled to safety and the remaining trapped victims were rescued by the national defense forces, it is said that international forces also had dispatched to the location for supporting the operation against the militants.

Previously on October 24th, a suicide bomber detonated his explosives near Kawsar-e-Danish education center, killing at least 30 people, most of them young and teenage students.
