Unidentified man planted a grenade on the main gate of a residence in Jangalak area of ​​Kabul’s seventh district, said local police on Tuesday morning, which was discovered and safely defused.

On the other hand, Faryab Governor,  Naqibullah Faiq, told media that four policemen were killed and eight civilians and 12 other members of ANP were wounded in a car bomb attack on the Almar district police headquarters of Faryab province.

Faryab governor Naqibullah Fayek added that the Taliban first “blew up a car bomb at the entrance of Almar police headquarters at midnight, and the blast followed by the entrance of four militants who got involved in fierce clashes with the security members.

The skirmish lasted the entire night, turning the situations into chaos.

Ministry of Defense reports, 37 Taliban were killed and 20 others were wounded after they were targeted by ANDSF in Gizab and Dehrawood districts of Uruzgan Province.

A large number of their weapons, ammunition including two of their strongholds, were also destroyed.
