Kabul Police nabs 7 in multiple charges fro different parts of the capital, Oct. 18, 2020.

KABUL, Afghanistan – Afghan National Police arrested at least seven men in multiple charges from different parts of the capital, the Ministry of Interior Affairs said in a statement Sunday.

According to the ministry, the suspects are brought into Kabul custody after security personnel were dispatched in different parts of the capital, including Police District 6 that is known for growing criminal offenses more recently.  

“Seven suspects involving in different criminal cases were arrested during several separate raids carried out by ANP in PD#1, PD#2, PD#4, PD#6, PD#9 & PD#11 of Kabul City.” said MoIA in a tweet.

Arrest came days after the Ministry gave a “shoot” order to local police, after Kabul resident demonstrated wide-spread concern over armed robberies and kidnapping throughout the city.
