The police forces in Kabul arrested three suspects had who had brutally murdered an Afghan woman of Hindu religion in the city.

The Ministry of Interior (MoI) in a statement said the police forces arrested the suspects during separate raids which they conducted in Kabul city and nothern Baghlan province.

The statement further added that the police forces arrested two of the suspects in Kabul city and another another suspect in Khenjan district of Baghlan.

The trio brutally murdered the woman after intruding into her house in Karte Parwan area of Kabul city last year, MoI said, adding that the suspects had robbed the jewels of the family before killing the woman.

This comes as criminal incidents are on the rise in the key provinces and cities of the country including capital Kabul amid growing insurgency-related activities.
