Portuguese football federation said in a statement Tuesday, that Cristiano Ronaldo has tested positive for Coronavirus.
Reports indicate the 35-year-old famed athlete played for Portugal against France last Sunday.
According to the statement he is currently, “well, without symptoms, and in isolation”.
But he is expected to miss matches his nation’s next upcoming league match against Sweden, as well as the play against F.C Crotone and a champions league in opposition to Dynami Kyiv
The PFF confirmed in a statement: “Following the positive case, the remaining players underwent new tests this Tuesday morning, all with a negative result, and are available to Fernando Santos for training this afternoon, in Cidade do Futebol”.
He will remain in isolation until his health status returns to normal.
