Israeli Strikes On Gaza Kill 25, Including Children

Twenty-five people have already died due to Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip, the Palestinian Health Ministry announced on Thursday.

The ministry said that 76 Palestinians have been injured due to the airstrikes.

More than 500 rockets have been fired towards Israel by Gaza Strip resistance groups, according to the military, with no injuries reported so far.

According to the report, of these, 368 rockets crossed the border, the Iron Dome missile defence system shot down 154, and 110 landed in Gaza.

Early on Thursday, Israeli military planes buzzed over the region where numerous houses were in rubble, stores in Gaza were closed, and the streets were mainly deserted.

The most recent casualty, Ali Ghali, the head of a rocket launch unit, was the most recent Islamic Jihad confirmed four military leaders killed in recent attacks.

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, another resistance group, reported that four fighters had been killed.

According to the Israeli army, the airstrikes are part of Operation Shield and Arrow, an attack that was started after rockets were fired from Gaza following the demise of a Palestinian prisoner participating in a hunger strike in an Israeli prison.

At least 130 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces since the beginning of this year, according to Palestinian figures. Meanwhile, at least 19 Israelis were also killed in separate incidents during the same period, Anadolu Reported.
