The Israeli military has reportedly launched airstrikes against Hamas targets in Gaza after a rocket attack left at least seven wounded in central Israel.

The ministry of information of Gaza has confirmed that the airstrikes have been launched in northern parts of Gaza.

Residents in Gaza have also confirmed to media outlets that they have heard several sounds of explosions on Monday evening.

The latest airstrikes by Israeli military was launched after a rocket allegedly fired from Gaza strip impacted a house in Central Israel leaving at least seven people wounded.

The Israeli officials have blamed Hamas for the latest rocket attack.

There are no reports regarding the possible casualties as a result of the latest airstrikes but officials in Gaza’s health ministry have said the medical points across the strip are ready to provide treatment to victims.
