Amid growing global calls for a halt to the war in Gaza, the Israeli military has attacked a school housing Palestinian refugees, resulting in the deaths of approximately 30 people.

Reuters reported on Thursday, June 6th, that these Israeli attacks targeted the “Nuseirat” area of Gaza, where Palestinian refugees had gathered.

According to reports, Israel claimed that the attacks were aimed at targeting Hamas “fighters.”

However, a Hamas official rejected Israel’s claim, stating that the country’s warplanes targeted a gathering of Palestinian refugees.

Ismail al-Thawabta, head of the Hamas government’s media office, said, “The occupation uses fabricated stories and lies to deceive the public and justify the brutal crimes committed against dozens of refugees.”

Meanwhile, despite international reactions calling for a cessation of Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip, these attacks continue.

According to statistics, since the beginning of the Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip, more than 38,000 people have been killed and around 80,000 others injured.
