Israel is still opposing the Biden administration’s decision over opening its consulate for the people of Palestine in Jerusalem and saying that the consulate be opened in the Western strip.

The US president Joe Biden intends to open the consulate that was closed during the presidency of Donald Trump.

Israel’s Prime Minister Naftali Bennett has said that he cannot see people other than Israelis be served in Jerusalem and proposed the consulate be opened in the western strip.

In the meantime, Israel’s foreign minister has also said that the consulate should be opened in Ramallah.

The office of the president of Palestine has reacted to Israel and has said that Jerusalem is the capital of Palestine and the US consulate should serve the people there.

The US has not disclosed information about the date of opening the consulate.
