The security forces conducted separate operations in Herat, Farah and Nangarahr provinces killing at least 5 militants including a terrorist of ISIS-K group.
The informed military sources said Tuesday that the security forces conducted airstrikes in Shindand district of Herat killing 4 Taliban militants.
The sources further added that the Special Forces arrested one Taliban militant during an operation in Bakwah district of Farah.
Furthermore, the Special Forces destroyed a small cache of weapons during the same operation.
Meanwhile, the military sources said an airstrike killed a terrorist of ISIS-K group in Khugyani district of Nangarhar.
