Iran’s humanitarian aid arrives in Kunduz province

An Iranian plane boarded with humanitarian aids arrived in northern Kunduz province on Wednesday, October 13, and will be distributed to the victims of the recent explosion in Khan Abad port of the province.

Provincial officials of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan expressed gratitude to Iran and pledged to be distributing the aids to the victims of the blast.

A suicide bomber exploded his explosives in a mosque in Khan Abad port of Kunduz province killing over fifty people and wounded more than one hundred more worshipers.

The victims were all Shia Muslims.

Humanitarian aid includes food ingredients, medicines, and other health materials.
