Investment by Alokozay Group of Companies in Pepsi Production in Afghanistan will encourage and persuade other investors and provides job opportunities, AISA said.
In a statement Noorullah Delawari, head of Afghanistan Investment Support Agency (AISA) said he hopes the investment of over USD 60 million in this project will help the economy and improve domestic production in the country.
Afghan Chamber of Commerce and Industries (ACCI) believe this investment to be very significant and vital in export of non-alcoholic beverages to South and Central Asia.
There has been over 30% annual rises in beverage production in the country since 2002 after the fall of Taliban.
