India’s Coronavirus tally increases nearly to 3.7m

India’s COVID-19 tally increased to 3.7 million as 69,921 new cases in 24 hours have surfaced on Tuesday.

Currently, India has 785,996 active cases of the disease while 2,839,882 patients have been discharged.

India has recorded 2 million Coronavirus cases in August, the country is hit heavily by this infectious disease.

The country has so far recorded 3,691,166 COVID-19 cases that include 65,288 deaths, tally went up when an unexpected 69,921 cases emerged today.

This comes as, the former Indian President, Pranab Mukherjee, who was tested positive for COVID-19 in August, died on Monday after weeks in the hospital at the age of 84.
