India defeats Afghanistan by inning and 262 runs in historic test match

The Indian team managed to wrap up the game during the second day of the match after Afghanistan failed to secure a lead during their first and second batting innings on Friday.

India won the toss and elected to bat first as they ended the first day with 347 runs and losing six wickets only.

During the second day of the match and in their first inning, India managed to score 474 runs, by losing all their wickets.

On the bowling side, Yamin Ahmadzai managed to take 3 wickets, Wafar and Rashid Khan 2 wickets, while Mohammad Nabi and Mujeeb Ur Rahman each took one wicket.

Mohammad shahzad and Javid Ahmadi started the first batting inning for Afghanistan but could not stay longer as Afghanistan lost back to back wickets and scored 78 runs only after losing 7 wickets.

The Afghan team managed to score 109 runs by losing all their wickets during the first inning while they scored 103 runs during their second inning and subsequently lost the match by an inning and 262 runs.

Ashwin managed to take 4 wickets during the first inning while Jadeja shine well during the second inning as he managed to take four wickets, according to Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB).
