The Ministry of Interior has announced that the fireworks show to celebrate the 100th Independence Day of Afghanistan has been scheduled for tonight.

The Interior Ministry said in a statement that the fireworks show will take place between 7 to 9 pm tonight in various parts of the city.

The statement further added that the shows will be organized in Dar-ul-Aman and Marshal Mohammad Qasim Fahim hills as well as the Television Mountain.

This comes as the government postponed the scheduled celebrations for the 100th Independence Day of Afghanistan following a deadly bombing in Kabul city.

A suicide bomber attacked a wedding hall in West of Kabul city which killed at least 80 people dead, forcing the government to postpone the celebrations.
