An Improvised Explosive Device (IED) went off inside a vehicle which was carrying a group of Taliban militants in eastern Kunar province.
The 201st Silab Corps in a statement said the incident took place in the vicinity of Chapa Dara district of Kunar.
The statement further added that the militants were travelling in a vehicle and were transporting an IED when it went it off prematurely.
Furthermore, the 201st Silab Corps said the explosion killed a Taliban militant and wounded 4 others.
