Saturday, June 18 – At least four private security guards have been killed following two separate Improvised Explosive Device Explosions in eastern Afghanistan. The incident took place when IED which was already planted on a roadside exploded near convoys traveling to a NATO base in eastern Afghanistan.
According to Mohammad Hussain provincial police chief, both the incidents took place early Saturday in Ghazni province.
Mr. Hussain further added that those killed during this incident were the security guards used to work for a security contractor.
Both the explosions took place in Ghazni province with slight time different of two hours of each other.
The wave of insurgency have raised dramatically across Afghanistan as the security transition due to start in the next couple of weeks.
