
The Independent Election Commission (IEC) has announced the final parliamentary election results for Kabul province.
According to a statement released by IEC, 33 candidates including 9 women have been elected as lawmakers to represent Kabul in the Lower House of the Parliament, Wolesi Jirga.
The statement further added that the winning candidates as per the final results are Haji Ajmal Rahmani, Alhaj Anbdul Qayoum Khairkhwa, Khan Agha Rezaie, Alhaj Mullah Mohammad Khan Ahmadi, Fida Mohammad Ulfat Saleh, Ahmad Jawid Jaihoon, Mir Amanullah Guzar, Alhaj Amir Gul Shaheen, Ghulam Hussain Nasiri, and Dr. Ramazan Bashadoost.
Other candidates who have made their way into the Lower House of the Parliament are Alhaj Syed Mohammad Mohammadi, Alhaj Allah Gul Mujahid, Haji Khan Mohammad Wardak, Alhaj Qazi Mir Afghan Safi, Najeebullah Nasir, Habib-ur-Rahman Sayaf, Anwar Khan Oryakhel, Sufi Abdul Raziq Estalifi, Tawfiq Wahdat, Haji Zergai Habibi, Mohammad Naeem Wardak, Haji Hafizullah Jalili, Irfanullah Irfan, and Obaidullah Kalimzai.
Wakil Fatima Nazari, Gen. Nazifa Zaki, Shinkai Karokhel, Mursal Nabizada, Fawzia Nasiryar Guldarayi, Roba Jalali, Maryam Sama, Zohra Noorzai, and Bibi Haji Parween Durani are among the female candidates who have been elected as lawmakers to represent Kabul in the Lower House.
