IEA’s PM Congratulates Pakistan’s Shahbaz Sharif on His Election as PM

The interim Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Mullah Muhammad Hassan Akhund in an official letter congratulated Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shabaz Sharif on holding the office of the premiership.

Muhammad Hassan Akhund expressed hope that Sharif’s election as head of the state of Pakistan will ensure friendly relations between the two countries.

“Your excellency’s election as prime minister of Pakistan is a positive move, I hope your election will ensure friendly relations between Pakistan and Afghanistan, development between the two brotherly nations, and will further flourish bilateral relations.” Reads the official letter.

The Taliban’s Prime Minister assured his Pakistani counterpart of strengthening and widening relations between the two neighboring countries.

Shahbaz Sharif who replaced Imran Khan will lead the country until the general elections for the election of a new prime minister.
