Ministry of Higher education of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan announced that universities in all tropical provinces to reopen on February the second this year.

A statement of the Ministry that was released on Sunday, January 30, 2022, reads that students will be given three weeks to complete their last semester and the new educational year in those provinces will start in late April.

About the universities in cold and snowy provinces, the statement reads that public universities will reopen early in March this year.

“In cold provinces, students will be given three weeks to complete their last semesters and then the new educational year will start in April.” Reads the statement.

150 public universities across Afghanistan will finally be reopened six months after the Taliban took over on August 15 last year.

Tens of thousands of male and female university students will be attending their university classes across Afghanistan.
