ICA wins ‘Asia’s Finest Insurance Leader Award 2020’

KABUL, Afghanistan – Insurance Corporation of Afghanistan (ICA) won the Asia’s Finest Insurance Leader Award for the year 2020, granted on Sunday by the Insurance Alertss that is an Indian largest and Asia’s second largest dedicated insurance news platform.

Jamal Asfour, CEO of the Insurance Corporation of Afghanistan, says he is proud that ICA is one of the winners, among international competitors, that continuously bids to be in service of its country through providing exceptional protection to people and businesses.

We are proud that Afghanistan, despite being a market in its infancy stage, have such an accomplishment; hoping that our market will prosper when we have a long-lasting peace across the Country, he said in a video dialogue with Editor in Chief of the Insurance Alertss.

In early 2019, Insurance Corporation of Afghanistan (ICA) became the first and only Central Asian Insurer shortlisted for three awards at the 2019 MENA IR Insurance Awards.

Later that year, the UK-based Capital Finance International declared ICA a 2019 winner of the Best Insurance Company award, recognizing its impressive portfolio, tailor-made insurance solutions and the company’s continued role in fueling product development to best serve Afghanistan’s needs.
