Wednesday, June 08 – According to local officials in Nangarhar province, unknown persons have attacked and killed husband of Freshta Walid on Tuesday night. The reason behind the assassination of Freshta’s husband is unknown and no group has claimed the responsibility yet.
Freshta Walid is an elected Afghan female member of parliament from Nangarhar province.
According to Mohammad Eqbal Azize governor of Laghman province, the incident took place in Sorkhakan area of Nagarhar province and he was assassinated by unknown people.
He further added that the reason behind his assassination is not clear and no has claimed the responsibility for the last night’s incident.
Security officials have started their investigation and police forces have launched an operation to identify and arrest the criminal.
