At least two security force members were killed and two others were injured in an explosion in Herat’s Rabat-e-Sangi highway on Thursday morning.
Mohammad Rafiq Sherzai, a spokesman for the Public Health Department confirmed to Khaama Press that the incident took place at around 06:00 am Thursday in the Kamar Kolagh area of the province.
According to Sherzai two securigy force members were killed and two others were injured during the incident.
He added, provincial ambulance service has taken the wounded to a nearby district Hospital.
No individual or group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
