According to Iraqi police officials, A series of heavy explosions and gunfires rocked the Iraqi city of Ramadi on Sunday.
The officials further added, a mosque and a police building in the city was hit by at least four car bombs followed by two suicide bomb blasts inside the police building.
An Iraqi police officer speaking on the condition of anonymity said, the first two car bombs went off near Dawlah Kabir Mosque in central Ramadi around 11:30 am local time, while the third car bomb exploded in the city centre.
The fourth car bomb went off neare a police building in Ramadi city a short while later, which was followed by at least wto suicide bomb blasts inside the building.
The building is currently surrounded by security forces.
In the meantime Iraq Interior Ministry officials said, at least three people were killed and 22 others wounded in bombings targeting police stations in Iraq on Sunday.
