AfghanistanAt least five suicide bombers were killed following an attack on a foreigners on a non-governmental organization (NGO) compound in capital Kabul on Friday afternoon. 

Deputy Afghan interior minister, Gen. Ayoub Salangi confirmed that the attack was carried out by five suicide bombers.

Gen. Salangi said four of the suicide bombers managed to detonate their explosives while the fifth bomber was killed during clashes with the Afghan security forces.

Salangi also added that a small girl was killed and a guard was injured during the first explosion which was carried out in front of the NGO compound gate.

Interior ministry spokesman Sediq Sediqi said at least four guards were injured while four foreigners who were trapped inside the guesthouse compound were rescued by Afghan security forces.

The incident took place around 3:30 pm local time and the main target of the attackers were guesthouse compound belonging to Roots of Peace non-governmental organization.
