Ghani awards the badge of Ghazi Amanullah to Akram Khpalwak

President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani awarded the badge of Ghazi Amanullah Khan to former secretariat chief of Afghan High Peace Council and Senior Presidential Adviser Mohammad Akram Khpalwak.

The Office of the President, ARG Palace, in a statement said President Ghani confered the Ghazi Amanullah Khan badge on Dr. Mohammad Akram Khpalwak to honor his services and efforts.

The statement further added that a ceremony was organized in this regard in Chahar Chinar Palace in which a presidential decree was recited by the presidential adviser for cultural affairs Asadullah Ghazanfar.

According to ARG Palace, President Ghani hailed Dr. Khpalwak for his efforts in peace process, specifically hailing his efforts during the summits organized outside the country regarding the Afghan reconciliation.

In his turn, Dr. Khpalwak thanked President Ghani for the award of governmental badge and said he was proud to have worked with a president who has a wide and strategic perspective for the country and for theregion.

He also added that he stands with his commitments to the President and is committed to remain by his side to serve the nation.
