The Office of the First Vice President of Afghanistan released the details of the government leaders’ meeting in Kabul.
According to a statement released by Gen. Dostum’s Office, the government leaders met in Kabul on Monday to hold talks regarding the elections, peace process, formation of the new coalition, and Commander Nizamuddin Qaisari’s case.
The statement further added that the government leaders emphasized that the elections should be organized on time.
They also discussed the ongoing efforts regarding the peace process and emphasized that the efforts should be stepped up regarding the reconciliation efforts, the statement added.
In regards to the formation of the new political coalition, Gen. Dostum said the new coalition has been formed with an aim to support the government and strengthen the system by working on implementation of reforms.
According to First Vice President’s Office, the participants of the meeting also held talks regarding the case of commander Qaisari.
Gen. Dostum said commander Qaisari and his comrades should be released from the detention facility of the National Directorate of Security, the statement added.
