The police forces killed a gang leader during a clash in Chahar Asiab district, the Kabul Police Headquarters said.

According to a statement released by Kabul Police, Hamidullah, the leader of a gang, was killed during a clash with the police forces in Cheh Dukhtaran area of Chahar Asiab district.

The statement further added that Hamidullah was leading a gang of criminals and was involved in various criminal activities including armed robberies and target killings.

Two of the accomplices of Hamidullah managed to flee the area after briefly clashing with the police forces, the statement said, adding that the police forces seized an Ak-47 rifle, some other military kits and a vehicle following the clash.
