
Zalmai Zabuli, a quite well-known Afghan politician and a former member of Afghanistan’s senate house has reportedly died of disease at age 57.
According to the local sources, Zalmai Zabuli has died as a result of kidneys and liver disease in Kabul on Saturday evening.
Zalmai Zabuli was born in the Southern Zabul province and had served as member of Afghanistan’s senate house for several years.
Zabuli had a Master’s degree in health education, a diploma in psychology and a bachelor’s degree in law.
He had also previously worked as the director of Zabul public health, the Chief of 200-bed hospital in Kandahar and a director of Zabul’s tribal affairs.
