Death toll from flash floods due to heavy rainfalls have increased to 14 people in Adraskan district of Herat province.

The natural disaster affected Rokha village of Adrakan district on Monday, local media reported.

Four children, a woman, and five men fell victim to the incident, the floods destroyed dozens of hectares of land and eliminated livestock in the area.

According to reports the floods also hit the Obe and Karokh districts of Herat province, but there are no preliminary reports about human and financial losses.

The region witnessed massive rainstorm in the past two days.

Meanwhile, rain floods have cause financial losses and about a dozen residential homes in Daikundi and Samangan provinces.
