Unconfirmed reports emerging from Qatar suggest that that the U.S. and Taliban representatives have reached to an agreement on a draft deal regarding the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan as 16-day talks concluded in Doha, the capital of Qatar today.

Informed sources have told media outlets that the two sides have agreed on a draft deal regarding troops withdrawal and counter-terrorism efforts, including campaign against Al-Qaeda network affiliates in Afghanistan.

The sources have not have provided information regarding draft deal which was concluded between the U.S. and Taliban representatives during the fifth round of talks in Qatar today.

However, other reports suggest that the fifth round of talks ended without any major breakthrough and the two sides are scheduled to meet again at the end of this month to finalize the draft deal.
