Explosive-laden vehicle hits security forces in Kabul

An explosive-laden vehicle targeted Afghan national defense and security forces in the Paghman district of Kabul on Sunday.

The vehicle exploded near to a number of military vehicles in Panja China area of the Paghman district.

Three security personnel were reportedly killed and 12 others are injured in the explosion, security officials told media.

An investigation is underway into the incident.

This comes as one ANA soldier was killed and three others were injured when their vehicle hit a roadside bomb in Paghman district of Kabul city on Sunday.

The blast happened at around 8:40 am when an Afghan National Army vehicle was struck by a roadside IED in the Qargha area of Paghman district, Police said in a released statement.

Security officials did not provide additional information about the blast incident.

No group or individual has so far claimed responsibility for the attack.

This comes as violence and outflank attacks have increased across Afghanistan.
