A bomb explosion at a mosque wounded at least six worshipers in the Police District one of Kabul city on Wednesday afternoon, April 6, 2022.

Kabul police confirmed the blast and added that a perpetrator threw a grenade at a crowd of worshipers as they were busy performing prayer in the afternoon in Pole Khishti mosque.

Spokesperson of the Police Khalid Zadran in a Tweet said that the perpetrator has been arrested at the scene.

Eyewitnesses say that the real number of victims is believed to be higher than what the officials say.

It comes two days after a grenade wounded at least 59 and killed one in the Kabul stock market in Police District one of Kabul city.
