An explosion triggered by an improvised explosive device wounded two civilians in Kabul city earlier today, the security officials said.

The officials further added that the explosion took place at around 6:40 am local time in the vicinity of 19th district of the city.

The unknown militants had planted the improvised explosive device on a roadside close to Kabul Military Training Center Camp, the officials said, adding that the victims have been shifted to hospital where they are receiving medical care.

No individual or group including Taliban has so far claimed responsibility for the incident.
