The Ministry of Interior (MoI) said at least five people were killed and 16 others were injured following the attack.
A statement by MoI said a number of children were also among those injured who were taken to hospital and are currently under the treatment.
Wahidullah Mayar, spokesman for the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), had earlier said at least four people and seventeen others were wounded in the attack.
Mayar further added that a woman and child were among those killed or injured in the incident.
No group including the Taliban militants has so far claimed responsibility behind the incident.
This was fourth suicide attack which rocked capital Kabul during the past three days.
