Elon Musk, the owner of the global X Network, formerly known as Twitter, has officially introduced new changes by adding voice and video calling features to the popular social platform X Network.
The owner of the widely recognized X Network, formerly known as Twitter, announced on Thursday that they have made voice and video calling available to the general public as part of a new update.
In a post on the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, Elon Musk guided users on enabling this feature. The platform’s management has not officially announced the new feature yet.
However, Musk released a cryptic message just before rolling out these changes, asking, “Are you ready for this?” Elon Musk recently explained that this feature will be available on Android, iOS, Windows, and macOS.
He emphasized that these changes will be accessible without needing a phone number. It’s worth noting that the billionaire owner of X rebranded the social network from “Twitter” to “X” after acquiring it for a whopping $44 billion in 2022, with plans to transform the platform into a super app.
These recent changes, including the introduction of voice and video calling, may potentially impact platforms like Telegram and WhatsApp.
