Eleven Taliban Affiliates Die in Car Accident

Local officials of the western Herat province said that eleven Taliban affiliates die after their car-Ranger- collided with a truck-trailer- on Sunday morning, April 10, 2022.

The accident has taken place on the Herat-Islam Qala highway.

Press in charge of the police headquarter of Herat city Mahmood Shah Rasooli said the two civilians have also been injured in the accident.

Head of Herat’s provincial hospital Arif Jalali said that ambulances were dispatched to the scene and those injured were taken to the hospital.

The high speed of cars and substandard highways are the main reasons behind such deadly car accidents in Afghanistan.
