The Chief Executive of Jamiat Islami Ata Mohammad Noor says the new political coalition will soon declare its existence in capital Kabul.

In a statement posted after the political agreement between political figures and elders, Noor said the new coalition is relatively larger than the previously agreed coalition.

He says the political figures and elders from Kandahar and eastern zones will also have membership in the new political coalition apart from the members of the coalition for the salvage of Afghanistan.

Noor further added that the new coalition has been formed to strengthen the political system and assist with the implementation of the reforms.

The Chief Executive of Jamiat Islami also added that the coalition will also play a key role in the upcoming parliamentary, district councils, and presidential elections.

He said the coalition will also contribute in the peace process and stability and security of the country.

The agreement was reportedly reached during a gathering in Ankara city of Turkey in the presence of the First Vice President General Abdul Rashid Dostum.

Gen. Dostum left the country several months ago after he and his security guards were accused of kidnapping, torturing and sexual abuse of the political rival Ahmad Ishchi.
