Badakhshan province is most vulnerable to natural disasters, including earthquakes, landslides, avalanches, and floods.

This has increased concern among the local people, particularly Faizabad capital city of Badakhshan province.

Due to a lack of management and natural disaster response, the region has been most vulnerable to earthquakes.
