Drone14 militants have been killed and their hideouts destroyed in U.S. drone strikes in eastern Nangarhar province.

Officials at the police headquarters of Nangarhar said that the drone targeted two insurgent hideouts in Mach Megi area of Lalpur District yesterday.

Hazrat Hussain Mashriqiwal, spokesman for the police headquarters writes in a statement issued on this morning that civilians have not received damages in the attack.

Mashriqiwal at the same time confirmed to media that the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) targeted two hideouts of the militants, adding that both hiding places of the insurgents were also destroyed in the strikes.

Taliban have not yet commented on the report.
