Four militants were killed after a drone strike hit a hideout in Sahawal area of South Waziristan on Sunday.
According to reports two missiles were fired at the hideout leaving four members of Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) killed.
This was the first drone attack in Pakistan since the beginning of this month.
South Waziristan is one of Pakistan’s seventh tribal districts which is reportedly a hideout to local and foreign insurgents including Al Qaeda.
Pakistani forces have launched large-scale operations in tribal built against the insurgents who have threatened to continue their fight against the current government in Pakistan.
Pakistani forces have said that they have broken the back bone of the insurgents in during these operations by killing thousands of their fighters and destroying their hideouts.
