Dozens of civilians killed, wounded in separate roadside bomb blasts

At least 13 civilians were killed and further 37 others are wounded in separate roadside IED explosions in Zabul and Parwan provinces.

Ministry of Interior Affairs said Monday that 11 civilians were killed and 28 others are wounded in a roadside bomb blast in Shahr-e-Safa district of Zabul Province on Sunday evening.

MoI blamed Taliban for placing the bomb in Muskan Camp area that targeted a civilian passenger bus.

In a similar incident, two civilians were killed and nine others were wounded in a roadside bomb explosion in the Pul-e-Matak area in Parwan province on Monday morning.

The incident happened when a bus carrying civilians was targeted by a roadside bomb, media reported.

The wounded were reportedly taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

According to reports women and children are also among the wounded.

No group or individual including the Taliban claimed responsibility for the incidents.
