The U.S. forces conducted airstrikes in south-eastern Ghazni province killing at least 25 Taliban militants.

The 203rd Thunder Corps in a statement said the U.S. forces conducted the airstrikes in Moqor and Gilan districts of Ghazni.

The statement further added that the airstrikes killed 25 Taliban militants and destroyed a Humvee armored personnel carrier.

Furthermore, the 203rd Thunder Corps said the airstrikes also destroyed 5 motorcycles of the Taliban militants.

The 203rd Thunder Corps also added that the security forces killed a Taliban militant and wounded 3 others during the clashes in Aab Band and Khwaja Omari districts of Ghazni.

The Afghan forces also confiscated a suicide bombing vest during an operation in Alisher district of Khost province.
