Dozens of people were killed or injured following a deadly traffic incident in eastern Ghazni province of Afghanistan on Friday.

Provincial governor spokesman Zarawar Zahid confirming the report said the incident took place after a civilian bus struck with a oil tanker in Ab Band district.

Mr. Zahid further added majority of the people were killed after the oil tanker caught fire following the traffic incident.

Only 6 civilians were resuced by Afghan police forces, provincial security chief Zarawar Zahid said adding that the provincial fire fighters have reached to the area to quit the fire.
