The dead body of a man who had been killed mysteriously was tossed out of a car by unidentified people on the street, according to local Taliban officials in Nimruz province, in southwest Afghanistan.

The Taliban’s head of Information and Culture in Nimruz province, Mufti Habibullah Elham, said that a man’s body was discovered on Wednesday, August 10, in the second district of Zaranj city, the provincial capital of Nimruz.

According to the Taliban official, CCTV footage displays two vehicles dropping the man’s body in the second district of Zaranj City and speeding away.

No one has been detained on suspicion of committing the crime, according to the Taliban’s Head of Information and Culture in the province of Nimruz, but the investigation is still ongoing.

Local sources in Logar province in eastern Afghanistan also say that two people were murdered by armed intruders on Wednesday in the province’s capital.

Several provinces in Afghanistan continue to experience inexplicable and mysterious killings and other crimes, despite the Taliban’s assurances that security measures are in place.
