According to the news reports from the Ministry of Public Health of Afghanistan, the daily death toll has risen to over 100.

In the past 24 hours, 101 people have died of Coronavirus in Afghanistan and 2,313 new positive cases have been identified, MOPH said in its latest report.

The numbers given by the Ministry of Public Health are only for the registered cases, however, there could be dozens of other death and new positive cases all around the country that they are not registered and recorded.

It seems the Coronavirus outbreak is peaking in the country and getting out of the control.

Many reported deaths are due to lack of oxygen in the hospitals, there are only a few companies that produce oxygen in Afghanistan with limited capacities that do not suffice the market demand.
