Saturday, August 27, 2011 – Afghan House of Representatives on Saturday hold a session to discuss the final decision of Independent Election Commission in regards to seat nine newly introduced winners and disqualification of nine sitting members.
Saturday’s session once again resulted into violence among the Afghan parliament members, as the two coalitions —The Reformers Coalition and the Coalition for Support Law did not reach to a decision.
This comes as the Reformers coalition supports the final decision of Independent Election Commission to disqualify nine sitting members of parliament and introduced nine new winners instead.
Meanwhile, the coalition for law support dismissed the final decision and vowed, not to allow even one Member of Parliament to be disqualified.
The argument leaded to violence after, the coalition for law support member, Semin Barekzai put her veil on a member of Reformers coalition, Mawlai Shahzada Shahid.
Saturday’s session ended up without achieving a result, after the parliament members left the House of Representatives following the conflicts.
