China Donates $1 Million Worth of Medical Supplies

China today donated 1-million-dollar worth of medical supplies to Afghanistan’s Ministry of Public Health.

The medical consignment includes about 40,000 coronavirus identification kits, 20,000 pairs of protective clothing, two PCR devices, and two RNA extraction devices.

Second Vice President Sarwar Danish thanked China for handing over the goods and said:

“China was one of the countries at the forefront of the fight against the Coronavirus and fortunately was able to successfully fight the crisis, in addition, China has provided medical supplies to Afghanistan so it can tackle the second Wave of COVID-19.”

On the other hand, the Chinese Ambassador to Kabul Wang Yu said that the purpose of China’s assistance to Afghanistan was to further strengthen ties between the two allies.

The Coronavirus like many other countries, had hurt Afghanistan’s economy.
