Car bomb destroyed, 7 Taliban militants killed in Uruzgan and Paktiya airstrikes

The security forces carried out a series of airstrikes in twoprovinces in the past 24 hours killing at least 7 militants.

The military officials said Saturday that the airstrikes also destroyed a car bomb.

The officials further added that an airstrike in Khas Uruzgan district killed 1 Taliban fighter.

Furthermore, the officials said an airstrike in Gardez district of Paktiya killed 2 Taliban fighters.

A similar airstrike in Zurmat district of Paktiya destroyed 1 vehicle that had been turned into an IED.

The officials also added that an airstrike in Khas Uruzgan district of Uruzgan province killed 4 Taliban fighters.
